How do I raise my metabolism and keep it up? Raising your metabolism is the most significant thing you can do to shed pounds. If you've got a high metabolism you may burn fat even while you are sleeping! Think how great that is right? I know you have seen a thin guy or girl who eats like a total pig and never gains an oz. of fat right?
